I love the Bakelite 74 mags, all my AR mags, but some, better said about 5% of my steel mags seem to pick up some rust. I have 4 Chinese drums and one of them picked up a little rust, now both the mags and the drums it is just small spots. Any explanation why?

lots of humidity where you live, here also. I am constantly spraying oil & wiping down things trying to stay on top of it.

I  had my Crossbreed holster and it was all filled which what I guess is mold, a fine green dust just that I wiped off with a damp cloth

Eezox is great for steel mags.  Wipe it on, wipe it off.  Your mags will be dry, lubricated and won't rust.

What can you use to touch up mags?

Depends on the finish on the mag.

Blued mag, cold blue.

Painted mag, rattle can.

Ensure to degrease the spot you are trying to touch up before applying new finish..
