Not a deal, exactly, but after what I think has been three or four years, I just got the notification that Toth Tool's magazines are back in stock:
7.62x39 30rd AK Magazine - Steel Reinforced Polymer At $25.99, they're not cheap, but I think they're a pretty good quality alternative to Circle 10 mags. There doesn't seem to be a lot of info or feedback on them, I think because they've always been so hard to get. I honestly thought they had given up on producing any more. |

Lee Mags have Croatian Mags on sale. You may need to make modifications for you AK-47. None fit my WASR-10 so I to use my Dremel sanding disc to make them fit. But when you are just getting into AK47’s the price was not bad.

The best deal I found recently was for six new Chinese flatback mags that I bought for $18 each at a local shop... and the guy realized after the fact that he had told me the wrong price (they weren't marked). He meant to sell them for $28 but honored the price he had quoted me since he had already rung them up. The EE is probably one of the only places to find surplus mags for less than $20 now. |

| I thought I recalled seeing feedback from a number of people here that the Croatian mags tend to have a lot of fit issues, requiring filing the lugs to get them to lock properly. I don't recall the details, but I know I've read posts that led me to avoid the "Made in Croatia" label when I would see it on magazines at shows. |
