I know it depends on the size of the dent obviously. But in general, do you guys ever get mags from a seller and have one or two with minor dents. When I push the follower down to the dented level of the mag, the follower gets stuck. Is this ground for a complaint if they were listed as "good" condition?
I ordered 12 and 10 are dent free, some with minor rust but who cares. I just want them to work. Or is this the chance you take when you order "good" condition. Thanks. 10$ bucks a piece btw. |
| If the follower gets stuck on the dent then the mag will not work. I have pulled dents out of a few AK mags and they worked great afterwards. Just take the mag apart as you would to clean out the inside(always a good idea with used mags), then use a piece of steel or brass to work on the dent from the inside. I have a Croatian two rib mag that works fine now that the dent is out. |

Okay thanks guys. good to know they work fine afterwards. I will just push it out then, flat heads a good idea. On a side not, Im going to scrub em with soap and hot water.
You recommend putting any gun oil on the spring or anything, or on the mag once they are nice and dry? |
