Does anyone kow if you can cut down Surefire Mags and still have them feed??? I have some 30 round mags I'd like to convert to 20 rds. Any help would be appreciated.

Instead of permanently modifing it you could install a plug that would limit it to 20rds.

Tks for the response. I didn't know there was a plug available but I would like to shorten the mags if that is possible.

Shorting a polymer mag is pretty much a No-Go. You would not be able to get the floorplate to mate if you cut off the bottom flanges.

you would be 101% better using a plug to reduce capacity if you need to.

regarding the plug, You would need to make the plug - just take a dowel, cut it to size, and set it inside the spring core.
