| I have some of the european steel 5.56 converted by surefire, and I love them. You just need to make sure you are 922 compliant when using them though, because they have no US parts in them. The surefire plastic mags are also really high quality, but there is no steel reinforcement in the feed lips, so I think they will eventually fail. I think they are guaranteed for life, so if you are using them for the range, they are definately good to go. The plastic ones contain 3 of your compliance parts, also. All in all, I think adding a bullet guide is probably the best option, especially in 7.62x39. |
