| What's the deal with this stuff. I picked up 800 rds for 200 bucks today. It's WPA Polyformance 7.62X39 125 grain soft point non corrosive. I was looking at one of the rounds and there is a line above where the round meets the casing. How does it perform and what's the quality like? |
| I've run through several hundred rounds of 7.62X39 without a problem and last month (or so) picked up a case from SGAmmo. Haven't shot any from that case but in my experience, at least, seems solid. Subjectively, it seems a little dirtier than Golden Tiger or Prvi, but I've waited a few weeks to clean after using the Wolf and have not had any issues. |

How does it perform and what's the quality like? it's mid grade ammo, seems to be a little more consistent than the Tula I've tried in the past. For an over the counter price that's a good deal. For the same $$$ you can order Golden Tiger or for a penny more per round Red Army. I keep a regular stockpile of WPA Poly in .45acp for some of my older pistols for cheap shooting, get it from a guy at one of our local gun shows who sells it for $15/box. That's half what good brass ammo goes for. |
