I need some help from the gurus here on identifying some ammo I picked up. The first round looks like this:
Obviously the 7.62x39 stands for the dimensions but I am completely lost on who made this cartridge and what the heck the TN3 stands for. Any help would be appreciated.
The second cartridge headstamp looks like this:
I know the 3 at the top indicates it was manufactured by the Ulyanovsk Machinery Plant in Russia but what does the 95 stand for? Year of manufacture?
I appreciate any information that any one could post about these 2 rounds.
Thanks.

The first one I'm guessing was made at Tula and the second is the year of production.

It's Cyrillc TPZ which stands for Tula Patron Zavod or roughly Tula ammunition factory.

TPZ = Tulskiy Patronny Zavod = Tula Cartridge Works
"3 95" is from Ulyanovsk, Russia (factory code "3") circa 1995.
