What is the difference between Wolf's "Military Classic", their "Lacquer Coated, and their "Polyformance" ammunition?  (7.62x39)

If your talking about Wolf Performance Ammunition ( WPA ) or the Wolf in the boxes with a the head of a Wolf pictured on the box , I believe all the newer Wolf ammo is poly coated now but I could be wrong on that. To many people where complaining about the lacquer stuff heating up and gumming up so they went to the poly coat. The classic WPA military ammo is Poly Jacketed Hollow point ammo ( JHP ) where the WPA in the black box is Full Met Jacketed ammo ( FMJ ).  I just bought some WPA JHP and WPA FMJ ammo...

The old gag about the lacquer coated ammo heating up and fowling the chamber is a tall tail.  The reason for the switch from lacquer to the polymer coating is cost.  Lacquer coated rounds are a lot more expensive to manufacture compared to poly.  Both good, but I prefer lacquer.
