Atlantic Arms has cases of RAS 122 gr FMJ in stock for $359 + $25 shipping. I'm not sure if they charge tax too, I haven't ordered from them: AK 47 AMMO 762X39 RED ARMY STANDARD 1000 RNDS 122 GR I got some of this for 30 cents / round at a store outside Pittsburgh last weekend, but they only let me buy 5 boxes. Maybe a big shipment of RAS just arrived in country. |

I'm not familiar with all the Russian headstamp variations, but it looks the standard Tula markings I see in web photos. I thought it was kind of ironic, since the store had 40 round Tula boxes marked $13.99 next to these 20-round RAS boxes for $5.99. I don't recall if the Tula boxes were FMJ or not though. |

The Tula I bought from J&G last month was marked "tula" and the box indicated Ulyanovsk which in turn had the same case head markings of some old Tula and Herters I had in the stash. Now that I've successfully ordered from AmmunitionStore, I'm a little more comfortable recommending them. Reasonable shipping, no tax, and good customer service. They have a good assortment of 7.62x39, with some cases ranging from just under to a little over 40 cents / round. They say that if you see the listing and can add it to your cart, that means it's in stock.
