When do you guys install your center support? First, last, or in the middle. Does it matter when you are not using a press to build? |
I install mine after bending the upper rails just to make sure they are good enough. Then I heat treat and put a slight Duracoat finish before putting on the front and rear trunions along with barrel. The reason I apply a Duracoat then is to keep them from rusting in between the receiver and the trunion (in case moisture gets in there for example firearm gets submerged).
