its funny when people get PO'ed about the caps lock, it has nothing to do with the question, if anyone has intelligent answers--then please help |
I own an AK, and have build a few. I know what i am talking about. Apparently you are a bit confused. A sear is only present in a full auto AK. What i beleive you are referring to is a disconnector. Completely different part. I would recommend removing and reinstalling the FCG parts. Also, what kind of receiver is this? It is possible the holes are off, so that they are a hair too close together. This would cause the hammer to bump the disconnector. |
Oh thats a way to ge thelp

Apparently Misfit likes to extensively edit his posts. If he would read the posts in order, he would notice that I suggested just shooting the gun, the problem would work itself out. I already gave my suggestion a few posts before he asked what I would do. I think Misfit misinterpreted the original post. The problem isn't that the bolt carrier is hanging up on the hammer (which his suggestion might fix), the problem is that the trigger doesn't reset. In which case, just shooting the gun more will fix the problem. Again, simple reading comprehension. BTW it's 'slew', not 'slou' |
