I'm kinda newb with AK stuff. I recently bought a kit from a guy thats had the front end work done and I have to figure out how to assemble it all. I've been trying to figure out what to do on the stock. I like the folder for its ability to become smaller. I was wanting the Romanian style wire folder. I hear they are pretty short though and not good for cheek weld and my arms are also a bit long. I was wondering if anyone else has ever taken one and chopped it in the straight part and added an inch or two of tubing into that spot. I've got a sawzall, grinders, and a welder. Good idea, bad idea? |
