I am new in the AK world and have a couple of Arsenals and I just purchased a new in the box MAK 90. I'm interested in updating the MAK 90 to an AK. I realize that US parts have to be added to be compliant. What US parts have to be added? How big an effort is it to change out the MAK 90 stock set to a standard AK Stock? Thanks for the help.

If your MAK-90 does not have a threaded barrel, you just need five US made parts.  If it is threaded, you need six.  The stock set on mine came off with no problems.  Just replace the trigger group, 3 US parts, and the stock set, 3 US parts, you will be ok.

I also have a MAK and was wondering where to find the parts? I have heard that the stock has to be made to fit the MAK receiver, is  this right or can I just use any standard stock set?
