I really liked what I saw on "Bending Jigs" buried in this forum but have not had any responses to my request for the dimensions so I'm posting a new item in hopes to get them. I have a couple machine shops to my disposal and after seeing the picture of a bending jig in this forum I believe I can replicate one if I could just get the specs. I'm a poor student at a University that is anti-guns so anyone helping me is helping stand-up to non-constitutional position of our higher education system. Please help and either let me know if you can build one for an affordable price or get me the dimensions to build my own, write [email protected] |
I am in the process of building my own. I am pretty much copying the design of a certain bending jig that goes for about $220 and also bends the top rails. After watching their video, I understand exactly how it works (not rocket science), so I am left with the same question, "What are the dims?" All I did was take the finish dimensions of the receiver and make it to fit that. You gotta remember that these things are made by people overseas using sticks and rocks.  As long as you're pretty close to the nominal dimensions when you finish, it will work just fine.  |
