i would like to put a muzzle brake on my maadi misr but i need a front site base, can someone point me to a good place to find one?

Why do you need a front site base to do this, are you talking a 22 or 24mm threaded base? then K-var is your only choice, otherwise just thread the barrel 1/2-28

If you want the bayonet lug, muzzle attachment detent and cleaning rod stuff, replace both pieces. Romanian would be the most common and would fit.
