I wrapping up my Romy G kit on an NDS-3 and I'm feeling pretty confident. I'd like some recommendations for a next build. My plans are to buy two of every kit and receiver I plan on building, and putting one away for later.

Thoughts? I can't do folders since I'm in a ban state, but I'm not opposed to welding a sidefolder for looks alone. Krink kit with a permanent muzzle attachment? Something else?

I'd like to keep kit + receiver to about less than $400 , since I'm buying two. I'd like to work off of DCI receivers.

TIA

An AMD65 might be worth a try. They are quite different and have a neat history about them.

That is my current project.

What you really need is a AK pistol sense you already have a rifle. A good simple way is to get a AMD65 kit and make it a pistol.

How about a source for 5.56 kits? Also K-var.com has some Arsenal AK-74 kits but they are pricey. Anywhere else to pick one up?
