i'm building an amd kit up, but it's missing the buttpad. anybody know where to get a replacement?
or what may be a reasonable facsimile to make in place of?

Have you tried the "Want to Buy AK related" in the equipment exchange? From what I have been seeing people are have good luck with responses. Good luck find the part you need.

Another prospect to be on the look out for is the people who have converted their AMD rear trunnion/block into a pistol setup. They usually sell the stock end fairly cheap.
