ive nearly completed my first build which is a romanian G kit on an nds3 reciever with a G2 fcg,
my problem is that if i manually cock the hammer everything functions correctly, but if i cycle the bolt/action then the hammer will not go down far enough to catch on the disconector and the hammer rides the bolt, how do i go about fixing this?

what do you mean the hammer wont go down far enough to catch the disconnector?

the hammer should ONLY get caught by the disconnector if the trigger is pulled. if the trigger is not pulled the disconnector will not engage the hammer. the trigger itself will hold the hammer instaed.

pull the trigger, hold it, and charge the weapon. does it then get caught by the disconnector?

edit: is your DISCONNECTOR SPRING installed?

edit: is your hammer in correctly? this is how is should look. the trigger is holding the hammer, and the disconnetor is on the left, unengaged.

edit again: better picture from the top. weapon cocked, trigger holding hammer, disconnter on the left unengaged.

Pretty easy to get the hammer in backwards. Also, you did use the sleeve that comes with the G2 to hold the trigger and disc / spring together, right?
