How are you guys making selector notches on receivers that don't come with them?  I read here about usind a dremel with cut off wheel.  I was thinking about a shallow drill hole.  Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

The notch made by a small cut off wheel makes it look more original ,but a small divot made by the tip of a bit will work fine also .

i cant see why you would need one unless you where building a f/a or had a really worn selector

cutoff works well tho

Regarding selector detents on the receiver, is there a template or drawing available that details exactly where to put them......preferably all 3?

I realize that the radius is based on the distance from the selector pivot to the knub near the end of the selector, but I'm looking for details on where to put them.

Thanks

I was wondering that same thing myself. I am building a M92 kit and want it to look as close to real as possible. Any template around to took at?
