I am working on an AMD build i got from Bocefus on the FAL files...good guy to deal with BTW

I removed the barrel and got the old rivets out and reinstalled the barrel by putting the barrel and pin in the freezer and warming the trunnion up in the oven, got it back together fine, got it set to go on the Armory receiver, put it together to prep for finishing and found that the bolt will not lock into the trunnion, it goes in, but wont turn down and lock in.
I don't see any big burs or anything on either the trunnion or the bolt.....any ideas guys?

are you trying just the bolt ?
do the #'s match

yes the numbers match, I have tried it with just the bolt and with the carrier as well.

with no case/gauge to hit theres usally alot of play and if it wont turn it sounds like somethangs not right

can you take pics?

also did you check and make shure its not hitting the feed ramp ?
