My last build isnt going as planned. While I was pressing in the barrel, it must have cocked to one side and bent permanently. I am pretty sure the barrel is garbage now, because when I look down the inside, I can actually see it curving to the left. Looks like I have to invest in one of the barrels from CFS. Should I try a virgin barrel they sell for yugos, or just buy one of their used ones (dark bore) that includes the whole assembly? How hard is it to install a virgin barrel? THanks, ~Dj |

This isn't bad at all. All you have do is bend it about 80 degrees more and you will have the only corner shooting AKM in the U.S. :) To be serious I know that during the Afghan war soldiers actually used AKs and RPKs with badly bent barrels. If I was you I would either sell the whole kit, or through the barrel out and install another barrel (preferably same country manufacture). Good luck. |
