[ARCHIVED THREAD] - OAL with folder

I've seen a link on this site, but do not know if it is accurate (AKA what is the source). Is OAL measured with the stock open or closed? I've heard the oppinions, I've searched the ATF website, I've looked everywhere I can think of. I need a the Difinitive(sp) answer. Please help. (this question is in relation to a yugo, but I think it will help others as well) I belive the legal issues should be covered thuroughly(I can't spell but my brain works fine) in this section. Thanks for the help.

Reguardless of what the "federal" rules are, some states measure with the stock folded.

Correct - in every state but MI. We have an ex-AG (and a state) that has issued an "opinion" (not a law) that is in conflict with the rest of the country.
