[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Grinding down extractor?

It's my first AK build, and I know I'm an idiot, but what's the rule for grinding down the extractor? Is there a certain guaging spec. that it needs to meet or do you just grind it till the bolt barely slides over it? Not sure how exact it needs to be.

I think you mean the ejector, I just file it until the bolt will pass it freely.
