Looks like my Romy build will be complete this weekend (barring any unforseen problems). So could you guys give me a quick rundown on Tantals. Whats different?, what receiver?, parts? Anything to watch out for? etc. Thanks |
| The gas piston is slightly different, but not to the point that it matters. Also the brake is different than a standard 74. You will also probably need a new selector. The one that comes with it works with the burst control group. Also a new trigger return spring is needed. I used a standard Global 5.45 receiver for mine. |
| can you leave on the origininal selector in addition to a standard AK switch? it wouldnt need to work (at least not for now) but i would hate to build a Tantal that doesnt look real. im also interested in finding out how they worked and how they were mounted, anyone have any info or a link i could look at? |
