I went to mock up my AK last night since I had just folded my first flat. When I went to drop the dust cover on, it was short. I compared it to the one on my SAR and it is about 1/4" shorter. Is this a cover for a milled kit?

you need to adjust your rear trunion location, to make your dust cover fit right.
Some AKs have a much shorter dust cover, such as a yugoslavian, because the rear sight block sits much farther back.
