Alright everyone heres an update on my inventory, AK Builder -Flat bending jig -Barrel kit -Trigger jig -Front trunnion bolt cutter tool -Plinker rear trunnion jig -hydraulic press -Basic hand tools Only thing I don't have is the spot welder. I'm thininking I'm just going to farm that work out. |

I just moved to bradenton florida I have 12 ton press rear long rivet jig trigger guard rivet jig bolt cutter rivet jig barrel puller all thread barrel installer brass fittings for barrels vices, punches, trunion locaters and dimpling tools dremils, you name it except for my drill press I left up north. Anyone in VT/NH area? Looking to finish off a Romanian AK kit this summer (all demilled, have the 100% receiver) and would like to find someone with the correct tools (press, jigs) for riveting this thing together. I've got the bolt cutter riveting tools (homemade), but the more I think about it, the more I want this thing put together with a press. I've got the tools to demill a Romanian kit if anyone needs help demilling theirs. |

I'm in St. Pete, FL, working in Tampa. Built a Polish Underfolder from a flat, now working on a Rommy G. Sold my jig and spot welder (not thinking I'd do another build), but have a mig welder and will probably do a poor man's jig this time. Should have known I'd do more than one. |

Is there anyone in Colorado, especially Denver metro area? I got caught up in the $89.95 Romy G grade C madness that Centerfire systems had going in Feb/March. I just got my receiver flat and screws the other day. I pretty much have an idea what needs to be done but don't have the tools to geek out and bend/weld my flat. Since probably this is the only AK build I'll do I would like to borrow the tools and expertise of an experienced builder. |

Omaha, Nebraska Just started: have already flat receiver bent, hardened and anieled ready to mig weld lower rails. I'm waiting for Romy kit. Equipment: Mig, AC/DC welder, drill press, compressor with tools, hand tools, home made welded flat jig made of 2" L angle- works great I think I enjoy this built a lot. |
