for you guys that have blasted one, do you remove the the GB, sight tower and FSB before or leave them on and blast around them?

Never have, but I have removed and replaced and the metal is bare under the original too.

I blasted the trunion and receiver, and they look great after a coating of BBQ paint, I was just wondering if it was worth the effort to remove the other stuff or just blast and paint them up.

It depends what finish you plan to use....for paint or DuraCoat, Gun Kote etc. just blast around and finish

For parkerizing you will need to remove and plug the gas port and muzzle and breach. Hope that helps

Shouldn't have to worry about this on chrome lined bores, right?
