I also am interested in building on a milled reciever myself. How hard was it? was it a press and pin reciever from Firing Line? Do you have to drill the hole for the barrel pin?

I have built milled recievers with the screw in barrels... no you dont have to drill any holes all holes are provided .. building a press and pin reciever is no different than doing a stamped reciever as far as head spacing goes..
