I need to replace my handguard retainer on my AK74. How do i get the FSB & gas block off after I remove the pins. Do I have to use a press or take some scrap wood and beat it off. Help, from anybody who has done this before. BTW the pins came out no problem. Like butter

take an adjustable wrench and twist them 180 deg(will break any birs) now you have to press them off it wont be fun or easy GL

Yikes! ok thanks. When you say press them off do I use a special jig or do I rig something together. Any picks /links?
