I've given up on trying to find an RPK parts kit, but I was able to find one already built for a comperable price. It's built on a Saiga reciever and has a regular AKM style stock. Is there a difference between the tangs on a Saiga stock and the ones required to mount a real RPK style stock? If not I'll keep looking, because I want it to look as authentic as possible. Thanks.

The Saigas have standard stock tangs.

Saigas are built on Russian RPK receivers if I recall.

Excellent, thanks for your help. Now, what are the best places to get RPK style furnature? I found some at InterOrdnance that looks okay, but I'm not interested in replacing the handguards. Any suggestions? Thanks again.

I got my set from IO. For the money, its the best deal I know of.
