I'm just to the point of putting a finish on my AK and ran accross something interesting. This website www.casewellplating.com has a black oxide parkerizing kit that doesn't require any heat. They have a video of the process and it looks pretty damn good. I am still going to GunKote my build, but this might make a good base. Anyone tried it? Thanks! Heavyweight |

I had interest in some of their other products a year or so ago and sent them several emails. They seemed pretty helpful and responded pretty quickly. I never went through with the order becuse my project ended up going a different direction but I look forward to checking them out again in the future. Midwest |
