Hi! I'm new to the AK build seen and don't understand the difference between single/ double hook triggers. Can you us either set-up in all AK varients? I see DPH offering single fcg receiver flats- can I use this on an AMD 65 build? Is one better than the other as far as trigger pull? I searched all over these threads before I asked this dumb question, you'll have to forgive me, I've been stuck in the 'STEN-AGE' for quite some time now. Any help would be deeply appreciated. THANKS- LOOSENUTS.

The DPH flats will work with an AMD, but you'll either have to buy, borrow, or steal (or make) a jig to properly bend it up.  The only difference between the single and double is the obvious difference (two hooks to clasp the hammer vs. one).  That and you need the cut in your receiver for both hooks if you decide to go with a double.  You can easily make the appropriate cuts in the receiver for the double hook.  I have both double and single, can't tell the difference.  I'm sure someone out there will say they can.

When in doubt, cheapest. Single works regardless of rec cuts in the trigger well, and double can be cut off easier than notching the rec.

It only takes a simple matching notch in the bottom of the receiver to make a double hook trigger work.  I perfer the double over the single as I think it makes the trigger a little smoother.

I added a double hook to my SAR1 and it only took a simple cut with my rotary tool.

Thanks allot for the help, guys. I guess I'll buy a single hook flat and try it out.
