If you want to build a Yugo from this kit, does it require a special recever or just any stamped receiver?

Also, do you need trunnions?

My understanding is I'd need that kit, a stamped lower, trunnions and some random american parts to be legal.  Is that correct?

ETA:  Also, is this combo the best route to go?  Or is there something else more popular?

Your link is no good, is this the outfit you are talking about?
www.gunsandleather.com/

It fits the name but I didn't find anything on the website, if that isn't the website, visit the website you are talking about, put your pointer on the address bar, right click and select copy, then paste that address in your reply.

Here's a good source for kits, it will give you a comparison.

One thing to keep in mind, the Yugoslavian AK's don't have chrome bores and from reports the bores in them have been in rather poor condition.

Thanks for the info!  Does that kit come with trunnions or do I need to get them too?

The kit is complete.  You need a US fire control group (hammer, trigger, disconnector)

The trunnions are there and will still be riveted into the cut receiver stubs.

Which FCG will work with that receiver?

From what I understand sheet metal receivers normally use single hook triggers.
