I finally got my barrel threading kit in and threaded my first AK. This one was a WSAR-10 and did not come with the break retaining pin or spring. First who do I order these from? Second I asume the pin is held in by the front pin on the front sight. I have wacked on it, but can not get it out. Any suggestions? I was told they were inserted on the Romainian WSAR-10's from the right and you need to tap from the left is that correct? It looks like it is the same diamiter on both sides.

THX!

Your right on all acounts!
the pin IS held by the front sight pin.
and yes even though they appear to be the same,
some remove better from the left.
And you can order the pin and spring from  www.k-var.com.

Scott Gull at www.dpharms.com had the springs and detent pins when I needed one for my SAR.  Check with him.  If it isn't on his website use the site contact button to email him, he may have a few and just not listed them.
