I have a couple questions that I cannot find answers for.

1.) What is the difference between a double hook and single hook trigger?  When do you use one over the other?  What determines which type you need?

2.) Could someone point me to a good procedure for removing and installing the barrel?

3.) Just received my TAPCO flat.  One rail has two holes in it while the other has one.  What goes through these holes?  Center support?

Thanks

No difference at all on the triggers unless you're trying to put a double hook into a single hook receiver. Then you just dremel a small relief cut for the other hook.  Several different ways for barrel removal. Newbies definitely need to find Pookies website on the OTHER board. Pictures and 10,000 words. Holes in rail are for the center support.

Pookie's website is on HIS board.  There are no OTHER boards hosting my site.  My computer, my Internet connection, my tape backup.  It is free and always will be free - you can quote me on that!  :)  I've collected stuff from all over, so technically its "everyone's" board.  I think no one has ever bothered to try to collect it into one location before...

Check one of the templates for the hole locations.  Pretty sure the center support hole is what you're looking at.

To answer your barrel pressing question:

Pookie - Thanks for the links and information.

I've been studying your site since it is by far the most comprehensive resource for building.  I guess I didn't make it to the barrel pressing section...

Regarding the trigger type - my TAPCO flat has two reliefs where the trigger goes through the receiver.  So, what is the benefit of using one over the over (double versus single hook)????  Is there a functional difference?

Thanks.
