[ARCHIVED THREAD] - screw build with underfolder

almost done and the safety lever won't fit do to an underfolder screw head. Is there an easy way to fix this or do I half to get the screw out and grind it down??? Thanks for any help, Joe

I had the same problem using an ace blank. I ended up filling the screw hole in the receiver and rear trunnion and drilling a new smaller hole thru both. I forget what size I used but it was one of the small screws that most guys sell in their bolt kits. Good luck and it does not look bad.

those rivets are the easyest to get to you could use a vice to crimp those rivets if your smart about it

Thanks krallstar, I just heated and removed the screw, I'll finish it later.
