let me guess your replaceing a single hook trigger with a double hook
dont open up the hole that holds trigger pin
if you do you gonna have a nice lamp base
email me and ill send you some pics of what needs to be removed [email protected]

A single hook G2 should just drop right in, correct?

If you are using a double hook trigger to replace a single hook trigger : the reason the hole will not line up on the right side of the receiver is because the original trigger did not have a "hook" there.  take the trigger out.  Compare the left side of the receiver to the right.  You will see the location where the hook rests on the left.  You need to dremel/file/remove enough material on the right side of the receiver to accomadte the extra "hook".  DO NOT drill any holes larger.  Email socandyman above for pictures.

I had the same problem.  The trigger wasn't coming far enuff forward because it was catching on the tab between the trigger arm notches on the receiver.  A little more file work (either on the receiver or on the trigger between the arms) & it can go forward enuff to fully engage the sear.
