Hey guys, I need some help. Is a 12 ton press adequate for pressing barrels and squishing rivets or is it overkill? I did a search and came up with zip. TIA.

From what I understand, a 12 ton press is about the minimum you want to go with, so that is what I have.
Thanks for the replys and link. Maybe I'll go with a 20-ton. I ordered one from tools warehouse because a free shipping offer, but it came back not available.

I got a 20 ton press from Homier Distributing Co. They have a web site for further info. As I remember, I paid a $100 at one of their truckload sales. It's been good.
