K-Var just e-mailed me an article about rivets and their correct installation. Though I take their lawyer inspired text with a grain of salt, generally the advise is good. No doubt most of you got this e-mail too, but a link to this information would be helpful for the guys just getting started.

I'm not much good at computer stuff, hope the links work.
Though the use of heat treated screws can help eliminate the "sheared rivet syndrome", even the screws should be counter-sunk by indenting the hole into the bevel in the trunions.
