| I received my OOW receiver today and tired a rough assemble of my parts to make sure everything fits. The rear receiver rail seemed tight until I forced the stock into the receiver(very tight fit). I am still not sure exactly how the rear trunion fits the rear of the receiver. Does anyone have a detailed picture of the rear trunion that they can post? Generally, does the the stock have to be forced into the receiver? |

jim, the rear trunnion is riveted in. the top lip of the receiver fits into the small grooves on the sides of the trunnion. the stock tang tang faced rearward. the stock is supposed to fit very tightly...and they do. it usually takes a little bumping and tapping to get the stock inserted fully into the back of the receiver. sanding/filing the stock tang helps ease that fitting a bit. |
