Ok I'm trying to rebuild my MAADI.
So far I have the K-VAR FCG
3 parts
us made slant break 1 part
Will buy k-var us made synth stock
3 parts
and probly a us made gas piston 1 part

So there are 8 parts
What else is readibly accessible/easy to change w/o worry about mag parts?
sksman never returned my email on the mag conversion kits.

You have more than enough there. You only need 6 US parts on a stamped gun with a muzzle device.

I can't think of any others, other than the mag parts. They will give you two more (follower and floorplate)

4 US parts on a milled gun/no muzzle device
5 US parts on a milled gun w/ muzzle device
5 US parts on a stamped gun/no muzzle device
6 US parts on a stamped gun w/ muzzle device

Let us know how it turns out and what you used.

Just keep focused on no more than 10 foreign parts, and the US parts count takes care of itself. Stamped has a trunion that counts as another part, hence the different numbers.
You're doing fine.

and sksman blew me off too this month...
