How do you remove/replace the wood on the upper handguard? It doesnt appear to be pinned on like an sks. The gas tube seems to have spot welds holding the wood in place. Thanks for any answers.

chuck the rear flats of the gas tube in a vise or pair of channel lock pliers...pad with a rag.
using a firm grip (some folks use a rag or thin glove), simply rotate the wood 180 degrees around the tube axis.
