| I was thinking about getting a front trunnion from Florida gun works and picking up a m70 milled parts kit. I already have an under folding trunnion. Would there be any issues building this on a nodak stamped receiver? |

First off, Florida Gun Works has a very shady reputation. Google them, and check their reviews.
Second, the trunion will not mate with a milled barrel. The trunion will mate with a Nodak receiver, and if your rear trunion is for a stamped Yugo it will fit as well. Most of the rest of the parts won't. Your best bet if you have a milled kit is just to send it off for a re-weld. There are no commercial milled receivers in stock that I know of. |

The trunnion should accept the barrel. Romanian style barrels are the same diameter as M70 barrels. But like mentioned above, none of the other barrel parts will fit.
Lots of people have done this though using a milled parts kit, Romanian frront trunnion, rear trunnion, and m70 barrel |
| Okay.. I have a NDS-1 receiver that's already cut for the yugo uf rear trunnion by the guy I got it from. But my best bet is to just frankenbuild it with another parts kit? I'm not opposed to the idea, I just would really rather keep it all yugo. I guess one can't be too picky at the moment. |

I saw on another site where a guy took the milled front end and slowly filled down each side to fit the receiver and then drilled holes lower on the trunion and installed it that way I believe it's on the gunco site.
Edit: Here's one option while I look for the stamped link; http://www.gunco.net/forums/f43/how-i-rebuilt-my-milled-aks-55-plus-compli-parts-30809/ |

What's shady about Florida Gun Works? I've bought parts kits from them in the past with no issues. Well Matt and Sue just tag teamed me over there and hosed me on a parts kit I bought "in stock" and I have nothing but contempt for that outfit. You wouldn't believe the back and forth bullshit emails. Bottom line, I placed my order, got a confirmation, Sue pulled the order to ship it and then ***crickets***. She goes MIA. Sent emails for tracking number, Matt: "Didn't you get it?", I'll check, I'll check, think your card "might" have been declined. (Impossible) Did your card get charged? Sorry, don't have your parts set anymore but might get some more in one day. Total terrible customer service and I wouldn't buy dick from them. My parts kit probably got sold for twice the price on Gunbroker during the panic. |

There is 2 companies that make milled receivers that I know of right now AWO (assault weapons ohio) and cnc warrior neither are cheap, but then again either is a milled ak compared to a stamped one in prices |
