Where do you guys buy your AK47 & AK74 barrels at? I can't seem to find barrels that are under $200?

Preferably imported. But US barrels also for future references.

Green Mountain Barrels ( http://www.gmriflebarrel.com ) Has American made barrels as well. They look like good products, I have no experience with them yet but am building a Bulg Milled receiver AK with one so I will find out.

guard slot is there, gas port is not drilled but has been marked by a shallow drill, atleast on the 74 barrels

Green Mountain Barrels has a number of US manufactured barrels listed on their site. Only issue I have had is trying to figure out what barrel I may need for a build.

If you get a green mountain barrel, be advised that their barrels do not fit the CNC warrior milled receivers. The trunnion journal is too small. Ask me how I know

AK-74 Solar has take off for 180 and Atlantic has USA for 150 I have used both.. Copes had some for under 80 bucks but I think they ran out.. No on AK-47 I know Copes and Guns America and Apex and K-Var have them in stock..

Had the same problem. Did you knurl the barrel to give you the interference for press fit? Or sleeve it? Just curious.

I have never purchased a Green Mountian barrel for a AK but have gotten many of their AR-15 barrels with no problems....

Aww, sorry to hear that you had to use a more correct barrel for your AK.

Sarcasm aside, if I could get a new Bulgarian 5.45 barrel, I wouldn't be wasting my time with cheap US made barrels.
