| Because I actaully like the way it fits my hand,and so I can tell the weapons apart more easily(47 v. 74), I would like to convert all my -74 to the Saiga forend. All my receivers are stamped, so I know I will need a hole drilled in the receiver; what about the front end? I imagine I will need to remove the sling holder/handguard retainer, will the forend then "Snap" in to place? Or do I need some type of bracket? Thanks |
| I have used a Siaga kit on a AK-47 from UTG the only thing I had to really change is the inter-hole in the pistol grip the rest just slipped on with only minor adjustment... The front of the handgaurd where it slips into the receiver had to be ground a little and that is all... |
