I recently purchased a SAR-1 with beautiful blond wood furniture on it. The only problem is that there's no trap door in the stock for a cleaning kit. Has anyone ever tried drilling the hole in the stock to accomodate the kit? Thanks.

Drilling the hole should be too hard, but better find the hardware if you are going to start perforating a nice stock.
