I need some advice, I went to check the headspace on my first build. First I tried the guages with the bolt and carrier assembled, I was able the move the carrier into the forward position with both the go and no go gauge which I thought was weird. I figured that I would'nt be able to move the carrier into the FP with the no go gauge. So I did the test again without the carrier and just the bolt it seems with the no go gauge the bolt rotates into the lock position but it does'nt allow me to rotate it all the way like it does with the go gauge.
Is this normal? Should I be able to move the carrier into the forward position with the no go gauge? Should I start looking for a new barrel?

check the pics,

bolt was not stripped, everything was very clean. I placed the gauge in the bolt before i pushed it into the chamber. And i didnt "let it fly" lol. this was done with the spring out and i moved it by hand to the forward position.
