Well I finally took out the krink today. It will fire the first round, chamber the second round, but the hammer won't lock down. It will follow the bolt back up. It will not double fire either.
Sometimes it would work correctly and I could fire 2 rounds in a row, but then the third would be the same, the hammer won't lock down. Its a 80% receiver so all the trigger holes were predrilled so I couldnt have messed that up any ideas why the hammer wont lock down? Thanks |

Short stroking maybe.
Just because it's a 80% receiver doesn't mean the holes are correct. Trigger over travel could be causing it also. With the trigger held fully to the rear, check to see if the hammer is being caught by the disconnector. I had one build (out of 12-13) do this. The trigger had too much travel and the hammer would simply bounce off the disconnector and ride forward with the bolt. If the hammer isn't being caught by the disconnctor or has very little contact, you may try a shim under the forward part of the trigger or weld a small amount to it to correct the problem. |

What kind of receiver flat? What kind of FCG? Nodakspud receiver, and a USA made trigger assy(double hook IIRC) I put it together about 8 ~ 9 months ago. been sitting in the safe as I had about 6 other projects going on at the time. So it was a 100% receiver then? NDS-3? Tapco G2 FCG? There have been some issues with that combo. Mine was one of them. |

A buddy had the same problem. We did the FCG mod in the link and the problem was resolved.

As in too much travel of the trigger or distance between hammer and trigger holes is too short. If the disconnector isn't reaching the hammer, that's a different problem. Sparky923 covered that in his link. |
