I just finished riveting together a Yugo M70. I have a single hook tapco fcg. When I pull back the charging handle the bolt carrier gets stuck. I have to hit it to get it to slam back forward but the hammer follows it back. I can push the hammer down with my finger and it stays put. Trigger pull feels good. I am new to AK's so I have no idea where I went wrong. Any ideas?

The first thing to check: Did you put the spring in the disconnector?
The second thing to check: Did you put the hammer in backwards?

Spring is in the disconnector.

I don't think the hammer is in backwards......

Since I can push the hammer into place with my finger, does that mean the bolt/carrier aren't pushing the hammer down far enough?
