I'm repairing an AK that was seriously abused by it's previous owner. It will be a good laugh and will leave you wondering why. ha ha I still ask the same question. It looks worse than it actually is.
I'm in need of some parts. I just bought a new stock, lower hand guard and pistol grip. I still need 2 butt stock screws (I forgot to order), upper hand guard, and cleaning rod(just for looks). I also need a 14x1 lh thread die. I have threads to work with. I just need to clean them up after removing the socket. I would be more than happy to repay shipping if someone could let me borrow one. I'll be very prompt about returning it! http://i86.photobucket.com/albums/k81/triumphbonne71/BOOM%20STICKS/picture203.jpg http://i86.photobucket.com/albums/k81/triumphbonne71/BOOM%20STICKS/picture206.jpg http://i86.photobucket.com/albums/k81/triumphbonne71/BOOM%20STICKS/picture204.jpg |
| That's a big 10-4. There's a little JB Weld or bondo on there too......you know to dress the weld up a little. He tried to tell me that he didn't do it. He also told me that he taped the two magazines together, not thinking about the bondo that had dripped on the mag tape. What a retard. It's coming around though. I have most of the weld off. The thing shoots perfectly. |

I've searched all of my usual places to find all the parts in one place. No luck.
Numrich egun parts has some of the parts. There are parts on GB along with a guy that is renting out the die for the threads. He requires a deposit. http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=142140654 DPH sells the die for $35.00 Good luck. |

Thanks man. I kept hearing about GB, never checked it out. Looks like some good stuff on there at a decent price. It's crazy the amount of things you can find cheap, while others are out of this world expensive. I got a buttstock, lower HG and grip for $14. A damn upper is $28. What's up with that? A bayonet, board, pouch, cleaning kit, sling, and oil is $19. A cleaning rod.....$20.
I need to update some of pictures so everyone can see what's going on. The AR stock I cut off the other night...... It's aluminum. The retard welded steel to aluminum. The bad part is, the metals melted together and made a huge mess. I need a dremmel to clean the inside of the receiver out. It's going to be ok. Just a lot of work! |
